It Is A High Stress Environment, But There Are Ways To Cope

● Anxiety: You may feel anxious about whether or not you have enough time to provide good care or if your patient will be okay in the end
● Depression: Working in such a stressful environment can lead some doctors down a path towards depression; they may start feeling sad or hopeless, which makes them less able to cope with the pressures that come along with being an ER doctor and possibly even causes them not want their job anymore
● Burnout: If these feelings don’t go away after a while, then it’s possible that someone has burned out on their career as an emergency room doctor
This means that they no longer enjoy working at all and maybe even hate coming into work every day because it brings back memories from previous traumatic experiences in their life where things didn’t go well either financially and emotionally
Physicians Are Susceptible To Burnout And Depression Like Other Professionals.
A study conducted found that physicians are more likely to develop depression than other professionals, and it’s possible this is due to the nature of their jobs.
